Glengoyne 10 from the Highlands region is a light and fruity single malt whisky with predominant notes of apples, pears, cherry sweetness, toffee, nuttiness, and soft oak. The use of bourbon and sherry casks enhances the complexity with hints of caramel and spiciness. It is described as thin but pleasant, making it an easy-drinking pre-dinner aperitif. Despite its young age, it offers a tasty experience reminiscent of liquid toffee, presenting a good value for its quality and flavor profile.

I get light citrus, heavy malt. $40, that's a good price.

No smoke at all and very fresh, clean blossoms, light and martinez behind. One of the cheapest, priced in the lower 30s.
Whiskey Novice
It's a very gentle soft sweet and sour arrival. Not thin but neither is it overly coating or oily. In fact, it actually goes a little dry. It's just all right. There are better options out there for the price.
The Grail
It's very light quite crisp. If you're just getting into whiskey, like a Speyside, it's a good one. It's quite a light whiskey and quite easy drinker. It's like liquid toffee.

Glengoyne 10 Year Single Malt Scotch
I really like this. I like the malty flavors. Definitely one of the best 10 year old single malts that you'll find.

Glengoyne 10 review #168 with The Whiskey Novice
I would recommend this to someone early in their journey with an early evolving palate. It's not a beginner's whisky because there is a bit of complexity there, but it's just all right for me.
